Here's the first edition of our cover recordings we will be doing from time to time. Listen to it and download it for free right here!

Both the Doors and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have always been a huge influence on not only our music, but of countless other bands too. So we are very pleased to finally be able to say thank you to them and release our version of their songs, we hope you enjoy... for free. Video Games

I'm not the gamer I used to be but occasionally I will still play video games. Oddly I'm more interested in old school Nintendo games than anything else. The simple gameplay and great music made it easy to enjoy. It's funny that the influence is actually audible 15yrs later. Our song NXSW has a few keyboard parts that are a direct nod to the Nintendo sound.

Covers

It's a musical right of passage I suppose (or maybe a necessary evil), the cover song has been dividing musicians for decades. Some people refuse to play any music but their own and others make a living playing nothing but. We're going to fall somewhere in between.

We're currently putting together some shows, but in the meantime we've agreed to take some time to record a covers EP. This may happen occasionally as we find songs that we are all on the same page about. We'll release more info about this as it happens and when it's done it will be available for free download. Hooray!

...in retrospeckt

New Year's Eve Day 2011, time flies is an understatement. I'm not someone who looks back often but the end of the year holidays are always an opportunity to reflect and reset.

2011 was a big year for us. We auditioned many musicians, formed the actual physical band, recorded an album, played our first gigs, and built our website. Not too shabby, best part is how much we look forward to keeping things rolling in the new year with more gigs, more videos, and most importantly more music. We hope you can join us in finding happiness in 2012 (and no the world will not end, just an age).
